What are opposite signs?
The zodiac is a circle of twelve signs, and each sign sits exactly six places from its opposite. Astrologers call the pairing a polarity or an axis, and read it as two halves of one theme: the same question asked from opposite sides.
Two rules make the pairs tidy. First, opposite signs always share a modality, meaning both are cardinal, both fixed or both mutable.
